Children & Family Community Club

EYR hosts various social events throughout the year to encourage children living with epilepsy and their siblings, to embrace social interaction, involvement and empowerment with their local agency and other kids living with epilepsy across York Region. Child and family social events are typically geared around holidays throughout the year, such as Valentine’s Day, Epilepsy Awareness Month (March), Purple Day on March 26th, Halloween and Christmas.

The Child & Family Community Club allows children and their families to connect, share and learn from each other. Most importantly, it is where lasting friendships are made.
