Stouffville Strawberry Festival June 28 to July 1

Canada Day weekend at the Strawberry Festival was filled with food, music, vendors and of course STRAWBERRIES!

We had a wonderful time spreading awareness both in the market and on downtown Main Street.

And it was wonderful meeting all the new families at our drop in event where they enjoyed strawberry treats and arts & crafts.

THANK YOU to our volunteers who made this weekend a success!

Magna Hoedown - September 13 & 14

This annual fundraiser put on by Magna is a 2 day event in support of 20 York Region charities.

This year Epilepsy York Region (EYR), with our collaborative partner Big Brothers Big Sisters of York (BBBSY) were selected as one of the recipients.

BBBSY provides life changing mentoring experiences and programs to at-risk children and youth in York Region. Epilepsy York Region advocates on behalf of individuals with seizure disorders and provides awareness, programming, and educational opportunities to clients.

The Hoedown funds received will provide services to BBBSY “littles” currently on wait-lists and will help develop new matches. EYR is using Hoedown funds to hire a social worker to give one-on-one support to clients.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED US SELL RAFFLE TICKETS OR VOLUNTEERED AT THE EVENT!
